Wise women give encouragement. And on this website, the Spiritual+Practical wisdom is offered by the modern-day equivalents of Mary and Martha of Bethany. Wisdom, encouragement and advice for Christian Life, and the Home.

Hi! I’m Helen Cronin, the Editor-in-Chief for MaryMarthaWisdom (and that’s my hubby, Tim sitting next to me!)
It’s my job to present to you the best wisdom for all of life’s challenges I can, to help you in your Christian walk.
That means finding wise women who will encourage you in your spiritual life. Not only the practical wisdom of how to pray, or read and study the Bible. But also their faith-based knowledge and advice, to help you solve those knotty questions which often confront the Christian.
Wise women can also help you find practical solutions based on biblical principles for caring for your home and family. Covering topics such as care and decoration of the home, organizing and offering hospitality, raising children, caring for the sick, and coping with bereavement.
Our Guest Post Authors may not always be well known but they are known in the courts of Heaven. Their ministry is to fulfil the calling God has placed upon their lives, to share their faith and wisdom. To encourage and to bless.
Read their contributions on MaryMarthaWisdom, then follow the links to their websites and sign up for their Newsletters for a continuing stream of wisdom from them.

And For Those Who Are Curious…….
Helen and Tim live in Dorset in the UK. Tim has a plumbing and woodwork business. Helen has two other websites. Leaves From My Garden which is all about her garden and Honey Bible Study which is dedicated to encouraging the study of God’s Word. When not working they enjoy exploring the countryside surrounding their home in the company of their two rescued dogs. Tim occasionally goes further afield on his motorbike, whilst Helen catches up with her garden and craft projects.
